Rates and Insurance
If you have insurance coverage for psychotherapy, coverage has to include "OUT OF NETWORK" benefits. If you are able to use insurance it will generally cover about a third of the cost. However, since each policy is different so you should check this with your insurance company. If your insurance does not cover services, or, if there are appropriate extenuating circumstances, I will be glad to discuss a sliding scale. Unfortunately, in addition to "in network" plans, I do not accept MASS Health or Neighborhood Health plans.
Please check with your insurance company to see if your insurance plan includes "out of network" providers. It also is important to know if our deductible has been met. If you're uncertain about it, I will try to help determine if your insurance company can contribute to the fee.
PAYMENT METHODS: CHECKS, CASH or most CREDIT CARDS.
Other question relating to your insurance:
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- Is there a coverage limit per therapy session?
- Can the therapist balance bill me for an amount higher than the allotted insurance or is there a set co-pay?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
